On September 12 and 13 2023, over 200 attendees came together in Lusaka to network, learn more about opportunities in Zambia and more at the Zambia Impact Investment Summit.

For a second year, Impact Capital Africa hosted The Zambia Impact Investment Summit in partnership with The National Advisory Board for Impact Investing Zambia (NABII). As always, were were supported by an array of incredible partners, including: Prospero Zambia and UKAID, Enterprise Zambia Challenge Fund, Anglo American, USAID Enterprises for Development, Growth, and Empowerment (EDGE) Fund, AGS Zambia funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and implemented in partnership with the Ministry for Small and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) of Zambia, WWF, Solidaridad, USAID A2C, Stanbic Bank Zambia, Charter Cities Institute, FNB Zambia, and Absa Zambia.

Building on 2022’s success, ZIIS 2023 was even bigger, with a wider array of represented organisations – proof that even in challenging economic times Zambia’s wealth of innovative entrepreneurs capture the attention of local an international investors.

ICA’s impact investment focused events, like the ZIIS, are designed to drive this momentum; highlighting Zambia’s immense potential and a wide array of investment opportunities. By fostering dialogue and collaboration among businesses, investors, development agencies, policy makers, and ecosystem enablers these events serve as a platform for targeted discussion, networking, impactful pitches, and meaningful introductions. Our goal is to shape the trajectory of Zambia’s impact investment ecosystem, paving the way for capital infusion that can effectively address the country’s economical, social, and environmental challenges.
