Impact Capital Africa has teamed up with the Zambian Development Agency (ZDA) and the Private Enterprise Programme Zambia (PEPZ) to deliver an ambitious programme aimed at building and strengthening the capacity of Zambian small and medium enterprise (SME) in the private sector.

Through a two phases approach including technical assistance for entrepreneurs and Zambia's first impact investing conference, ICA: Zambia will form a direct action-focused conduit between Zambian SMEs and investors.

Impact Capital Africa (ICA) was established by the Musangu Foundation and Exigent Events with the aim of breaking down the barriers facing many African SMEs to close investment cycles.

The Musangu Foundation was established to create and scale new solutions to Zambian development challenges through the application of business thinking to major social and environmental issues.

Exigent Events is a specialist conference production company focussed on the delivery of world-class events, particularly in emerging markets with extensive experience across Africa.

Private Enterprise Programme Zambia (PEPZ) is a 5-year programme funded with UK aid from the British government. PEPZ’s vision is to contribute to a buoyant private sector where Zambian businesses can flourish and deliver inclusive economic growth and sustainable jobs.

Zambian Development Agency (ZDA) was established in 2007 as a quasi-Government institution under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI). The mandate of the Agency is to foster economic development through promoting and facilitating investments, trade, and competitiveness of local businesses.
